Royal Society of Miniature Painters, Sculptors and Gravers entries for 2018 exhibition

Royal Society of Miniature Painters, Sculptors and Gravers entries for 2018 exhibition

Here are my entries for the 2018 Royal Miniature Society (RMS) exhibition. I've been busy with all manner of different things so I've just not managed to enter anything since 2013. Hopefully I'll get these five through the selection process!

You may have noticed that I've entered Louis and the Space Shuttle Discovery before but, in the rules of entry, this is OK since it's been more than 3 years (for none portraits) and 4 years (for portraits) since I last entered them.

From the top-left, going clockwise, there is:

Oliver, a toddler portrait,

Portrait of the Countess Golovine,

Louis Armstrong,

The Space Shuttle Discovery,

Saba with a Glass of Wine.

To become an Associate Member of the Royal Miniature Society (allowing me to have ARMS after my name) I need to have 5 pieces selected for the annual exhibition in 2 consecutive years. Quite difficult, as I've found!

To become a full member (RMS after name) then I would need to become an Associate Memeber first and then have 6 pieces selected for exhibition in consecutive years - not easy at all!

We'll see how it goes, it'll be good just to get something on display this year.
